Ende Januar, Anfang Februar
eine etwas winterliche Woche, bißchen kalt, viel grau, bißchen blau... alles in allem scheint es wirklich sinnvoll für den Himmel über Wien viel grau zu verwenden... bin schon gespannt auf den sommer...
Meiner Oma war immer kalt, immer wollte Sie, dass wir uns wärmer anziehen, weil Ihr so kalt war. Meist hat Sie alle Flammen beim Gasherd angezündet, damit Ihr wärmer wird. Einmal hat Sie den kleinen Schwedenofen im Wohnzimmer so stark eingeheizt, dass das Ofenrohr zu glühen begonnen hat. Natürlich gabs dann einen Feuerwehreinsatz. Kein Wunder, hat Sie doch immer alles verbrannt, was ging. Mich haben die Feuerwehrmänner als kleines Kind natürlich mächtig beeindruckt.

End of january, beginning of february
a somewhat winterly week, bit cold, loads of grey, some sun and blue-ish sky. it is more and more clear to me, that i need all kinds of grey for the viennese sky! hopefully the sommermonths will be more interesting.
My granny was always cold, all the time she wanted us to put on warmer clothes, because she was cold. Most of the times she turned on all flames on the gasstove, to have it warmer. one time she fired up the little oven in the livingroom so much, the stovepipe started glowing. Ofcourse we called the firebrigade. No wonder, she always put anything remotely burnable into the stove. I was highly impressed by the fireman as a little girl.
